Announcement: The Parliament of the World’s Religions and UN Environment Program

The Parliament of the World’s Religions Climate Action Task Force is proud to announce the recent acceptance of the PoWR to the network of Civil Society Organizations affiliated to the United Nations Environment Program.

This release entitled First Nations People’s Perspective of Earth’s Sacredness features Eriel Deranger in an interview encouraging honesty on climate, connection, and action. ED and Co-Founder of Indigenous Rights Advocate, Deranger is a member of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN) and was recently featured as a keynote speaker of the Justice Assembly at the 2018 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto.
