In the Holy month of Ramadhan, Muslims around the world abstain from food and drink from dawn to sunset. This is done in an effort to strengthen relationship with God by increasing focus on worship, charity and human welfare. This Iftar dinner is a wonderful occasion for all communities to come together and reflect upon the essential message of Ramadhan of humanity, compassion and empathy.
