Faith Community’s New Ways to Meet Community Challenges

March 4, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Interreligious Leaders Forum

Join us to learn about actions being taken by faith communities to address the current challenges they are faced with. Silicon Valley is fortunate to have many faith communities that have stepped up. The topics will cover immigration changes and support actions (including DACA, ICE raids, religious workers visa, H1B/H4 visa, etc.), unhoused community issues (safe spaces, faith facilities as sanctuaries, etc.), stereotyping minorities with its impact on bullying and hate, and refugee resettlement, to name a few.

Several Faith Leaders will take a lead on the discussion of these topics. There will be plenty of time for everyone to present what they are doing. Our goal is to bring everyone on the same-page, so we can support each other’s actions and make a bigger impact.
