Come honor the lives of our sisters and brothers who died without homes in our
community, and bring awareness to the ongoing tragedy of homelessness. Join
leaders and choirs from San Jose’s diverse religious traditions in prayers,
reflections, song, and reading the names of those who died without homes in
the past year in our community. Prior to the memorial service, there will be a
community forum to address the question: “How can we prevent homeless deaths in
our community?”
This event is hosted by the Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC) and sponsored by the
office to Council member Sergio Jimenez, County Supervisor Dave Cortese, State Senator Jim Beall, Assembly Members Ash Kalra & Kansen Chu.
