Homeless Persons’ Interfaith Memorial Service

December 21, 2015 @ 6:00 pm

Homeless Persons' Memorial

Since 1990, the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) has sponsored National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day every year on the first day of winter, the longest night of the year. Leaders from the diverse interfaith community of Silicon Valley will again lead this memorial service in front of San Jose City Hall to bring attention to the tragedy of homelessness and to remember and honor those who have died while living without a permanent home.

We will share the names of those who have died, along with prayers from Muslim, Buddhist, Unitarian, Wiccan, Christian and Jain traditions. Music will be provided by the Tzu Chi Relief Choir.

Join us in building a more compassionate society in Silicon Valley.
