In 2009, a delegation from Silicon Valley traveled to Melbourne, Australia to accept the designation of “Partner City” bestowed by the Parliament of the World’s Religions, the world’s largest interreligious gathering. One of the outcomes of that recognition was the creation of SiVIC in 2011.

This year, the next Parliament of the World’s Religions will be meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, from October 15-19. We invite you to come and discover what the Parliament is, hear from those who have attended in the past, and find out what is planned for the upcoming Parliament.
The Parliament of the World’s Religions is the largest international interreligious gathering, bringing together 10,000 attendees from 80 countries and 50 religious and spiritual traditions. Keynote speakers will include the Dalai Lama, Karen Armstrong of the Charter for Compassion, More information and registration is available at the Parliament website.
