Annual Sacred Celebrations: How They Promote Compassion, Forgiveness, Tolerance & Pluralism
This forum will explore our diverse sacred celebrations: what they are, how they are celebrated, what they seek to achieve for individuals and communities. How do rituals support the spiritual quest? How do such celebrations promote compassion, forgiveness, and tolerance within the religious community and with the wider world outside.
There will also be a short presentation on the upcoming Compassion Games (September 11-21) and how to play (list of events/activities that everyone can take act on).
Our hosts will be the Jain community; a vegetarian lunch will be served.
Please Join Us for the first in our Forum Series for this year.
