RISE for Climate Change March in San Francisco

On September 8th, four days before the start of the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, California, people from across the country and around the world will take to the streets to “Rise for Climate,” where advocates plan to send a clear message through distributed actions in towns, institutions, cities to push forward real climate action.

Interfaith Power and Light will be holding an interfaith prayer service, Shabbat service and send off at the Ferry Park prior to the march

10:00:   Gather with song and celebration
11:00:   We March! From the Embarcadero Plaza to the Civic Center in San Francisco

Then we’ll re-group across the street at our designated place in the march line-up in Embarcadero Plaza   – look for the large painted IPL parachute that we will carry.
