Planting Seeds in New Lands — A Know Your Neighbor Inspired Event

A Muslim-Jewish Gathering
Join us as we share our rich personal histories of movement from one land to another. We will create a safe spiritual space in which we can meaningfully connect, learn together and enjoy a delicious Kosher and Halal meal.
Keynote Speaker
Mohammad Modarres
Founder of Abe’s Meats, the first-ever “Interfaith Meat” (both Halal and Kosher), Mohammad Modarres, MSc, previously co-founded a biotechnology company, redesigned a board game and worked as a political cartoonist. He is a 2018 TED Resident and a Johns Hopkins University alumnus.
