Dr. Patel will be the featured speaker this year and will discuss a path forward that keeps faith with the historic identity of seminaries and divinity schools and serves a rapidly changing society characterized by marginalization, tribalism and deep difference. This free event will take place at 7:30pm at Zaytuna College (2401 Le Conte Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94709). A reception will follow in the GTU Richard S. Dinner Boardroom (2400 Ridge Road, 3rd Floor). Eboo Patel
Eboo founded Interfaith Youth Core on the idea that religion should be a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division. He is inspired to build this bridge by his identity as an American Muslim navigating a highly religiously diverse social landscape. For over fifteen years he has worked with governments, social sector organizations, and college and university campuses to help make interfaith cooperation a social norm. |
