Developing a Survivor Mindset for Faith Based Organizations

This workshop is a must for all Faith Based Organizations and their congregations. The presentation will be covering a range of scenarios that could arise during gathering times and services. Developing a prepared mindset for congregations is key to insuring a coordinated response by all for areas like:

  • Active Shooter
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Natural Disaster – Earthquake, Fire

Leaders Forum: Red Cross Emergency

Our guests for the Interreligious Leaders Forum will be Jim Mollerus, Sheltering Lead for the Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.  He will describe the Red Cross Emergency Sheltering program and how religious communities can assist their own communities as well as the larger community during times of emergency or disaster. There will also be information about issues that oftentimes arise in a disaster, such as access to translation services, notifications and communications in disaster, and how to help their members access information and resources.
