“Religion accepts life in its entirety. To work towards getting rid of any physical or mental suffering is true religion. Service is no different from spirituality, service is spirituality.”
– Acharya Shri Chandanaji Description: Compassion and Service (Seva) lie at the center of religious traditions. Compassionate action forms an important part of the religious practice as implemented through “Service (Seva) to others”. Millions of people volunteer for Service and contribute billions of hours to improve the lives of many, each having his/her unique reason to give back. This conference will bring together several Faiths to showcase their service related projects and activities. It will explore the “motivation” behind such selfless service and the role that the Faith plays in it.
