Compassionate Silicon Valley

SiVIC’s Compassionate Silicon Valley Campaign seeks to have Santa Clara County and all its cities affirm and sign the Charter For Compassion, joining many other cities and areas of the world who have affirmed the Charter and adopted compassionate policies in their government and administration. Click HERE to learn more about the Charter.

On April 25, 2017, the Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County voted unanimously to affirm the Charter for Compassion. SiVIC is an active member in Compassionate California, the first compassionate state in the nation, with over 20 compassionate cities.

How can you join the Campaign?

  1. Personally affirm the Charter for Compassion here.

Compassion Games 2016

Compassionate Silicon Valley was a leading player for many years in the Compassion Games, which have now become part of One World. Our team was featured as highly inspiring “heart-based startup” team in this Compassion Games 2014 article.

Dr James Doty of CCARE said ” In Silicon Valley, there is for many a sense of anxiety, isolation and loneliness. Compassionate Silicon Valley has created a platform that includes many spiritual and faiths traditions offering a place of safety, security and fellowship ultimately creating a sense of trust and unconditional acceptance that is so critical for authentic social connection.”

I have no question the power of this effort.”
