Becoming An Affiliate

There are four levels of Affiliates of the Silicon Valley Interreligious Council:

Congregational Affiliates

Community Affilates

Local Interfaith Groups

Individual Affiliates

Religious community/congregation
Affirms the mission, goals and values of SiVIC
Makes a yearly financial commitment to support the work of SiVIC*
May appoint 2 voting delegates to the Annual Assembly, and additional delegates in proportion to congregational membership and/or contribution level

Non-profit with a community/religious/educational mission
Affirms the mission, goals and values of SiVIC
Makes a yearly financial commitment to support the work of SiVIC*
May appoint 1 voting delegate to the Annual Assembly, and additional delegates in proportion to contribution level

an interfaith group within a City, or city areas, or areas within the county
Affirms the mission, goals and values of SiVIC.
Makes in-kind contributions through participation and/or volunteering in SiVIC activities and programs
May appoint 1 voting delegate to the Annual Assembly

*Suggested levels for annual contribution: Congregation- $100- $1,000; Community- $100- $500; Individual: $35 and up.
