Homeless Interfaith Memorial:

December 21, 2019 at 12:30PM-4:30PM at San Jose City Hall, San Jose

Come honor the lives of our sisters and brothers who died without homes in our community, and bring awareness to the ongoing tragedy of homelessness. Join leaders and choirs from San Jose’s diverse religious traditions in prayers, reflections, song, and reading the names of those who died without homes in the past year in our community. Prior to the memorial service, there will be a community forum to address the question: “How can we prevent homeless deaths in our community?

Teen Interfaith Council: We have a long-term strategy. In recent years we have put more investment in our youth, integrating the Teen Interfaith Leadership Council into our broader goals. We are hopeful for the future when we read reflections such as these from our teen members:

“…a lot of problems like depression and anxiety in our generation are rooted from a disconnect and faith is exactly what today’s teens need to feel like a part of something bigger than themselves, their appearance, or their status.” (Jain student)

We hope you are inspired to donate to promote such activities of the Council.
