SiVIC was very pleased to send a “dignitary” delegation to the Jain Center of Northern California (JCNC) Silver Jubilee Grand Parade on July 26th. The Parade kicked off twelve days of events commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Milpitas temple.
SiVIC Board Director Shobha Vora from JCNC graciously hosted Garth Pickett, Leslie Meehan, Soma Chatterjee, and Nurdin Kaparov as we marched in the first parade in Milpitas in 25 years. Our dear SiVIC colleague Girish Shah was honored as lead Jubilee sponsor and elder at the delicious reception lunch.
We all really enjoyed celebrating with our JCNC friends and other ally organizations, with dancing, drumming, and delight. Congratulations JCNC!
